Where to run in Tegucigalpa

Tegucigalpa (Tegus or Teguz for short) is the capital city of Honduras and is also the country's largest city. It was founded in 1578 by Spanish settlers as "Real Villa de San Miguel de Heredia de Tegucigalpa". Runners can find a nice course within the Villa Olimpica, located close to the National University. The Choluteca river, which crosses the city from south to north, physically separates Tegucigalpa and its sister city Comayagüela.
