Where to run in Las Vegas (Nevada)

By runninginlasvegas.com - The Strip is probably the most iconic symbol of all in Las Vegas and most of the time it is seen by car on the way from point A to point B. A lot of the character of the Strip can be missed by car however, which makes this a great place to take in on your next run. Starting on the "new" part of the strip as defined by the South end of Las Vegas Boulevard by Mandalay Bay up to the north end by Treasure Island crossing over to the Wynn and then returning south on the Strip to the area near the Tropicana. Many sights can be seen on this trek and it will give you a good workout with climbing stairs on the side street crossovers to sprinting to beat the lights. Especially nice is running past the fountains of the Bellagio and the volcano at the Mirage. Depending on what time of year you run, you can get cooled off periodically by misters spraying a fog of mist on you along the strip and there are many places to duck into to buy water or your hydration beverage of choice so leave your water bottle at home but make sure you bring your camera to take pictures of some interesting scenery.

Las Vegas is a great place to run. Whether you are here on vacation, business, or are a resident looking for some new ground to cover, the site runninginlasvegas.com lists some of the best places to run on the roads and on trails during your visit.
