Wildwood

The Rockwood Reservations, a 1900 acre park, has a splendid trail system, picnic areas, educational museum, springs, caves and a quarry, Cobb cavern, bubbling springs and Hamilton Creek. There are six trails, the Lime Kiln Trail is the longest of 3 miles. The terrain ranges from hard pack dirt to loose uneven rock and is extremely hilly. This is another great place to trail run along the I-44 corridor. The trails here are perfect for stringing together a run or walk of any distance. This park can be linked to Greensfelder for an epic trail run or day-long walk/hike. Plus Cobb cavern is a great place to do strides in the summer and stay cool! Directions: to reach Rockwoods Reservation, exit I-44 at Highway 109 and continue 4 miles north to Woods Avenue. Go left on Woods then right on Glencoe Road.
