Texarkana

Texarkana, located on the border of Texas and Arkansas, is composed of two cities with the same name. They are divided by the State line, which runs through downtown the twin cities. Running on State Line Avenue would allow you to run from Texas to Arkansas and back as many times as you decide to cross the border, marked by the Photographer's Island, located in front of the Post Office, a favorite point of interest for visitors who delight in capturing a unique photo opportunity of standing in two States at once. But the unusual cities, under the motto "Twice as nice", feature nice opportunities for runners, hikers and walkers offering trails around Lake Wright Patman and Lake Millwood, and walking paths in Spring Lake Park, Loop 245 Park, Millwood State Park and Atlanta State Park.
