Where to run in Helsinki (Finland)

By J. Leigh Walker - Running is nice in Seurasaari where you can find forest trails and ocean views. Seurasaari is an island and a district in Helsinki, known mostly as the location of an open air museum, which consists of old, mainly wooden buildings transplanted from elsewhere in Finland and placed in the dense forest landscape of the island. Runners and walkers come to Seurasaari every Summer to enjoy the rural, peaceful outdoor atmosphere. Despite the visitors, the island has a variety of wildlife, especially birds, but also red squirrels and hares.
