Where to run in Sydney (Australia)

By Richard Butler - This is a bush track with some great surfaces but some rougher ones also. Starting at Sugarloaf Cres Middle Cove you can follow the track around Harold Reid Reserve through Castle Cove and North Arm Reserve to the end of the headland (Explosives Reserve). Expect some stairs and hills and occasionally there is some potential for a high tide to make patches less passable while in the cove (backtrack and use the roads if you get caught). Don't do this run in low light! There are wonderful views of middle harbour and a great experience of the bushland (it is hard to believe you are within 10 kilometers of the Sydney Central Business District).

Norths Joggers - Norths Joggers is a social running group sponsored by Norths that has been running around Sydney's picturesque North Shore and Middle Harbour since 1967. New and visiting runners are always welcome.
